The New Rochelle Public Library is an institution that participates in strong and consistent academic and educational activities and events. The collections include, but are not limited to, published books, photographs, government or facsimiles, maps, manuscripts, pamphlets, newspapers, serial publications, audiovisual materials, institutional or organizational records, personal documents, electronic records, scrapbooks, and other historical materials related to New Rochelle. The New Rochelle Public Library (NRPL) collects, organizes, preserves and provides access to a non-circulating collection of primary and secondary sources that document the history of the City of New Rochelle, its inhabitants, government, environment, businesses, institutions and organizations. The collection includes, but is not limited to, published books, photographs, government or facsimiles, maps, manuscripts, pamphlets, newspapers, serial publications, audiovisual materials, institutional or organizational records, personal documents, electronic records, scrapbooks, and other historical materials related to New Rochelle.
And New Rochelle Public Schools, an education system that, in my opinion, as a graduate—and Catie and I speak as parents—is better positioned than any other in Westchester, to prepare students to understand a constantly changing world and live an exciting life in it.
