If you pay the policy in full in advance, you'll get a discount. You can save an average of 3% if you combine renters insurance and car insurance with Progressive (the discount will be applied to your car policy). You can get additional discounts for tenants for each of them. If you pay for your 12-month policy in advance, you can also get a discount on home insurance.
You'll receive another discount simply for owning a home, even if your home isn't insured through Progressive's network of home insurance companies. Add a full-time student who maintains a B average or higher to your policy, and we'll add a discount on car insurance. With each discount, homeowners insurance becomes more affordable, so you can also receive a multi-policy discount with your home insurance company, in addition to the multi-policy discount that applies to your auto insurance when combining home and car policies. This information is not an insurance policy, does not refer to any specific insurance policy, and does not modify any provision, limitation, or exclusion that is expressly stated in any insurance policy.
One way to get cheaper car insurance is to look for car insurance, and quoting with Progressive could result in lesser-known discounts and savings. If you're comfortable signing your documents online (securely), that's another simple way to reduce car insurance. You can save an average of 5% if you combine home and car insurance with Progressive (the savings apply to your auto policy). If you combine home and auto insurance with Progressive and a single event causes a loss and the coverage applies to both policies, you'll only be responsible for one deductible.
Please note that this benefit is only available with renters insurance through American Strategic Insurance (“ASI”), one of the insurers in the Progressive network and part of our family of companies.
